At Pieper Automation, safety is our moral obligation and number one priority. It is our responsibility to elevate that, not just within our company, but within our homes and community as well. At Pieper Automation, one incident is one too many. Our concern about safety extends to our customers as well. We work hard to guarantee that our safety assessments and abatement plans and solutions are up to relevant safety standards and meet all verification and validation requirements.

We employ engineers with internationally recognized TÜV Nord qualifications. We are a total safety solution provider with skilled engineers and technicians that manage the whole process for you, from the initial Risk Assessment to final Commissioning and Validation, and every step in between.

We solve your machine safety compliance issues, provide unbiased risk assessments, help you develop your company wide machine safety and risk assessment program, implement solutions thru design and engineering to mitigate your risks and provide validation on implemented safety systems to ensure the safety related control system of the machine is designed and implemented correctly.

AWARENESS MATTERS

When designing and installing a safety system, conducting both a safety system verification and a safety system validation are critical steps in the machine safety process to ensure that the safety design devices work as intended. Safety systems can function in unexpected ways after installation and should be validated before production begins, skipping these steps could leave fault conditions unprotected, leading to possible harm for operator and/or machine failure in the workplace.

Pieper Automation’s Machine Safety team have the expertise and resources to perform a thorough on site safety validation checkout and verification. Our Safety team will perform a detailed, structured test by checking for possible fault conditions of the safety system after it is installed to make sure it functions to the safety level required by the risk assessment. This process may involve lifting wires, shorting contacts, removing power, or faulting devices which to simulate the possible fault conditions.

ENGINEERING MATTERS

Our experienced engineers work directly with your team to be able to fully identify the necessary safety precautions and processes to meet guidelines and maintain employee safety during all aspects of machine operation and maintenance. These insights will then be used in the overall design and programming of the automation system, ensuring that safety is at the foundation of your more efficient and productive automation system.
